The Family Picture

Here it is, our one family picture of the year. And of course is it lame. Peyton is not looking forward, we are sitting on the stairs (just like last year). There were plenty of tears and mumblings and groanings that took place before, during, and after. But here it is! :) I know most of you probably received the annual Christmas card, which included this picture - but I had to write and let you know how miserable it was to get there! Happy New Year! Let's hope for a better picture in '08!

Are you kidding? I love the picture!! Kids are never looking forward. If a kid Peyton's age managed to look forward there would be something wrong with him and he'd probably have that glazed over look of a kid with nothing going on in his brain. But that's not so...he loves his family or sister or the beam of light coming in through the front door more than he loves to be cooperative :) Anyway...it's great. It was so fun to see you guys last week!! I wish we would have been able to spend some more time. I miss you!

P.S. Family pictures don't get any easier. We still have grumblings and tears and we're a family of four with two grown adult children :)

It's too cute. It helps us to see Peyton's personality.

I really don't know what's wrong with you Busch! Can't you get your kids to cooperate? Family pictures are a piece of cake in my experience!!!

I really crack myself up. Yeah, right! I just did some family pictures last week--the little boy wasn't looking forward in ANY of the pics. He was utterly uncooperative--as they usually are at that age.

Lots of love!!!!
